We did get out to buy a counter top to make the tables for our new tools and we did get the tools assembled.
The drill price was only $55 and the belt table sander was $60. Not the best quality in the world but more than suitable for us in our golden years. We did give them a trial run and they both seem to perform very well.

Here is Maggie in one of her favourite spots wrapped around my chair by the computer. She does this while I am sitting in it so she must feel pretty confident that I am not going to roll around.
JET has been trying to set up his computer with an alternate operating system to Windows and it has been thwart with problems. He has found one which seems to be working OK now but he still has to move all his programs and files onto it. At least it is not infringing on his shop time as it is too hot to be working in there for too long and it's too big to be able to afford to keep it air conditioned.
Getting ready this coming week for the meet up with the family. Really looking forward to it.
Have a great visit with your family! Our temps in Northern Indiana are hi 80s and low 90s. A bit above normal for us but I'll take it. We have been working outside before the highest heat of the day. We put a fan on the floor to circulate the air for the dogs. Love your Maggie. What bread is she? We have a boxer and a boxer/pit mix. Both the biggest babies!

Maggie is an American Bulldog and a big softie. People ask if she is a pittie but she isn't, not that it matters. We love her to bits, got her as a puppy last year at 5 weeks. She is very strong though and doesn't like to be on a leash. Here we don't need leashes, they just run free but if I take her to the vets she has to be leashed and it's quite the sight to see her pulling me along. Boris, our senior dog is a boxer/labrador mix and all chocolate color. He is 11, we had him from 8 months, a rescue from Wayside Waifs.
